The Mayo Clinic is a world-famous clinic offering just about every medical expertise, diagnostic tool, and treatment available today. Together with local hospitals, the Mayo Clinic forms an integrated medical center. Two tours are available - a walking tour informing visitors of the clinic's history and roles in medicine, and an art and architecural tour.
This mansion has 49 rooms and was built by Dr. Henry S. Plummer. This Tudor-style mansion sits on 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, consisting of formal gardens, bird trail, quarry and water tower. Grounds are open to the public year-round, self-guided tours June through August and group tours during the remainder of the year.
St. Mary's Hospital Tour
Self-guided tours of St. Marys are offered between 8am-8:30pm daily. Tour brochures can be found at the information desks in the Francis and Mary Brigh buildings of St. Marys Hospital. Children must accompanied by an adult. Special tours can be arranged with 1 month advanced notice.
